Profile

Jee started dancing at the age of 7. She graduated from Yewon Art middle and Seoul Art high school with a major in ballet and a minor in modern dance and Korean traditional dance. She trained with celebrated dancers, teachers from Vaganova and RAD school, and renowned Korean teachers.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University, the most top ranked school in Korea, with a major in Physical Education (concentration on Dance/Ballet). In addition to her ballet training, she aslo studied jazz and Latin dance in the University.

She has taught ballet to middle and high school students who wanted to be professional dancers in Korea. In addition, she completed her teaching certification in children's dance and is also a certified baby massage therapist.

Jee continues to train in dance and has taken classes at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. Since her relocation to San Jose, she joined Ariel Dance Studio in April 2007 and is happy doing what she loves best - teaching adults the joys of classical ballet.
