Born and raised in San Jose, CA, Kevin is the youngest of 4, with 2 sisters and a brother. He has lived in San Jose his entire life, except when he went off to college at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Currently Kevin works at Cisco, as a Support Engineer/Analyst. At the age of 10, Kevin became a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, competing in multiple tournaments that included demonstrations as well as sparring, taking away his fair share of trophies. He taught children as well as adult classes at the age of 11, which lead to finding a joy for teaching and helping others.
Kevin wanted to pick up hip hop so he decided to Google a few studios and by chance he found his new home here at Ariel. He currently takes hip hop classes, and slowly moving into some jazz classes to further his horizon. He has performed in shows at Ariel, and continues to help out at the studio whenever needed. He currently holds the title of, "Tech Rehearsal Blocking Nazi." He hopes to be a positive model for those who never have danced before and show that anybody can dance as long as they have the passion to learn.
