Profile
Kim Kasper has been dancing and performing since she was four years
old with various dance companies in the Bay Area including Peninsula
Dance Academy, Peninsula Youth Ballet, Dance Arts Center and Shawl-Anderson.
Her training consists of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and modern.
She has performed in such works as The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s
Dream, Guys and Dolls, The Ugly Duckling and several compilation pieces.
She graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Dance. During and
after her college career, she danced professionally with the Davalos
Dance Company.
Kim has been teaching and choreographing ballet, jazz, and hip-hop since
2001 and is currently co-director of an all-girl hip-hop dance company
– Elemental Remix. Kim believes that dance is a great confidence builder
and stress reliever. She loves to see her students gain a sense of accomplishment
and pride when dancing. Kim is passionate about performing and enjoys
sharing her love of dance with others.
