Rene “NayTron” Abalos began bboying in 1998 when influenced by his older brother Jardy. He also looked up to other renowned bboys such as Ken Swift, Abstrak, and Kamel. The years that followed, Naytron developed his own style which was a complimentary combination of acrobatic power moves, style, and finesse. After creating a lot of his signature tricks, Naytron went back and focused on the dance and how to apply those moves to the music.
His first major accomplishments were taking first place in City vs City 3 (Chicago) and Rock Steady Anniversary (Los Angeles). He soon became one of the most influential and considered to be one of the top B Boys in the USA. His abilities enabled him to travel across the country to compete, and was also selected to represent the United States in Holland, France, Mexico, and Tahiti. Naytron was also selected by RedBull Energy Drink to become a member of their Red Bull Beat Rider program in 2005. He currently belongs to 2 crews, Soul Sector and Renegades. With Soul Sector he has performed numerous theatre shows and corporate events and has upcoming performances in London and Czec Republic. While continuing to practice and improve his dance, Naytron enjoys teaching, competing, and performing shows. His goal is to keep learning and share the information, technique, and experience that he’s collected to anyone that is willing to learn. Bboying has become his lifestyle and he wants to show people the fun and beauty of this dance and what it’s all about.
