Ballet
Class Description
Ballet Fundamentals Ballet Fundamentals. This class will focus on the fundamentals of ballet with a strong emphasis on proper technique and alignment. We will begin with the basic elements of positions, steps, and simple jumps and turns and progress to longer combinations at the barre and in the center. Musicality and presentation will be emphasized throughout the class.
Beginning/
Intermediate Ballet
A basic technical class with a focus on the fundamentals of ballet, line, etiquette, musicality, and how the classical balletic positions of the body will influence the dancer at all levels of their training. All levels are invited because it can be a nice "warm-up" for the int/adv dancers.

BELLY DANCE
Class Description
Belly Dance Beginning Belly Dance: Technique & Drills
This class will introduce students to the beautiful and elegant art form of Middle Eastern belly dance while building strength, flexibility and great muscle control. The class focuses on building basic bellydance vocabulary. Students will learn the proper posture, isolation techniques, essential moves and traveling steps, and simple dance combinations. Each class includes cardio and stretch warm-up and lots of drills - a good workout guaranteed!

Beg/Int. Belly Dance: Choreography & Performance
This class offers more challenge to students who already feel comfortable with bellydance essentials. Students are introduced to more difficult techniques, transitions between movements, layering, complex dance combinations and choreographies, props. Musical interpretation and performance skills will be taught as well. Students are encouraged to participate in group performance projects!

Beginning
Break Dance

B-boy/B-girl (Breakdancing) is an athletic dance form which uses your whole body. You will learn the history and origins of breaking, technique, toprocks, footwork, transitions, freezes and most importantly, how to rock a beat. Butt, Guts Fat Burning Workout

Kevin will offer a variety of Cardio weekly workout ranging from:

Cardio Kenpo:
A high-intensity cardiovascular workout packed with lots of punching and kicking combinations to improve balance, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. During this workout you'll learn some of the most effective ways to defend yourself, while at the same time getting your body in peak condition.

Plyometrics:
With over 30 explosive jumping moves, you won't be spending much time on the ground during this highly intense cardio routine. Plyometrics, also known as jump training, has been proven to dramatically improve athletic performance. If your sport involves a ring, rink, field, court, or track, then this training will give you the edge. Just be prepared to "Bring It" for a full hour when you leap into this workout, because there is no letting up.

Ab workout:
The combination and sequence of movements in this unique workout taps into not only abdominal strength, but true core strength as well. Master these 11 highly effective exercises and you will achieve vital abdominal muscle strength to benefit your overall health and physical performance.

Core Synergistics:
Each and every exercise in the Core Synergistics workout recruits multiple muscle groups to build and support the core (lumbar spine and trunk muscles), while at the same time conditioning your body from head to toe. Loaded with a variety of fun, unique, and challenging exercises, this routine will get you moving in all directions

Traditional Cardio:
This low-impact cardio routine. You'll find it to be a fun, full-throttle, fat burning workout that will leave you feeling lean and mean. Combines a little bit of each of the workouts listed above

CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Class Description
Contemporary Dance The class focuses on clear use of weight, balance, movement dynamics, and energy.After a complete warm-up and stretching, that build into longer, more complex and energetic traveling sequences, the class moves on to the combination, which require both physical and emotional qualities.

The class develops posture, coordination and flexibility with a strong focus on quality of movement. The class is challenging but relaxed, with an emphasis on expression.

Beginning
Hip Hop
This class is designed for dancers with no prior experience and it includes a warm-up, hip hop progressions, and a short routine . The focus is placed mostly on style and loosely on technique.
Beg/Int
Hip Hop
Learn to dance like you see in the latest. music video clips. Students will learn technique, style and choreographed routine geared toward a dance concert. Selected dancers will be invited to perform in the Ariel Dance Productions' annual concert.

Intermediate Hip Hop A challenging Funk for your feet. The class covers street dance moves such as: hip hop, popping, locking, hitting, jamming to name a few. Don't be surprised if you find yourself being the center of attention the next time you are groovin' on the dance floor at your favorite club.
House Dance (Clubbing) The House Dance style (known by some as clubbing) derived from the disco era gaining popularity in Chicago and then in New York City. Based off of footwork, jacking and lofting, this class will have you ''working it'' on the dance floor. This class is for all levels!

Jazz
Class Description
Beg/Int Jazz This class is for students with some background in dance, although not necessarily experience in jazz. Students will continue to work on technique, balance, strength, coordination, jumps, turns, and short combinations.
Intermediate Jazz This is a high-energy class that focuses on warm-up, across the floor work, multiple turns, and complex dance combinations: Afro Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Traditional styles. Students can expect fun, high energy music, experienced teacher and a great workout!
Theatrical Jazz

Explore your inner actor by adding theatrical character to your performance. Through choreography and dance you will learn to step outside your shell and express a personality to go along with the movement. This class will allow you to contribute your creativity to the class while dancing and performing with new identity.

Latin Fun Dance

Get in shape while having fun in this Latin Fun Dance class. Learn Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Bachata, Argentinean Cuarteto and Murga, Cumbia, Reggaeton. You will learn choreographies that are typically danced in Latin club to contemporary music by artists such as Axe Bahia, Daddy Yankee, Shakira, Christina Aguillera, and more.

Class Description

Pilates Fusion

This new low, impact high intensity, class focuses on taking traditional Pilates and fusing it with yoga and ballet workouts. Get the body of a professional dancer using ballet barre exercises, Pilates (which was initially created for injured ballet dancers) and yoga. No dance experience is required. We will focus on exercises you can do at home that take very little time but quickly show results. More than that, we'll teach quick and simple changes you can take in your approach to food and work outs o help with your weight loss or toning endeavors. Here's your opportunity to make working out fun!

POPPING AND LOCKING
Class Description

FUNKSTYLE
( Popping & Locking)

Get in touch with your inner funkiness in this street dance class! The class starts with
warm-up, stretch and isolation. You will learn some hip hop steps as well as some popping and locking and how to integrate these moves in a New Skool choreography. There will be a choreography at the end of the class. This class is best suited for beginners but is open for everyone. Wear clothes that you can move easily in, and athletic shoes.

The singing class is for teens and adults of all levels. If you are someone who sings in the shower, the car, at karaoke, or even if you have had singing lessons before, this class is for you! Students will be learning a broad range of music, from Broadway to pop to country. The class is designed to teach the basics of vocal production and stage presence, so if you love to sing or just want to try something new, come and see what this class has to offer you!
