| Basic Ballet | Drill fundamental ballet exercises without the pressure of learning complicated choreography. Work on strengthening and stretching all muscle groups to achieve a dancer’s body and ballet lines. Great for beginning dancers who want to learn the basics and develop proper ballet form. Also useful for intermediate and advanced dancers who want to focus on their technique. Class format includes warm up and quick stretch, technique drills, floor work, stretching, break down a difficult ballet step and cool down. |
| Yoga Ballet Blast | Yoga Ballet Blast is a conditioning class that leverages moves from ballet and yoga to help you achieve your fitness goals. We'll start with ballet to sculpt and tone your upper body and build flexibility. Then we’ll move into the cardio workout for core conditioning. Finally, we'll grab a mat for a well deserved cool down with some Yoga poses and stretches to help you relax and release all the stress and tension. No dance experience required! |

| Belly Dance | Beginning Belly Dance: Technique & Drills This class will introduce students to the beautiful and elegant art form of Middle Eastern belly dance while building strength, flexibility and great muscle control. The class focuses on building basic bellydance vocabulary. Students will learn the proper posture, isolation techniques, essential moves and traveling steps, and simple dance combinations. | Beginning Break Dance |
B-boy/B-girl (Breakdancing) is an athletic dance form which uses your whole body. You will learn the history and origins of breaking, technique, toprocks, footwork, transitions, freezes and most importantly, how to rock a beat. If possible, bring knee pads, hats/beanies, elbow pads. |

| Contemporary Dance | Contemporary Dance fuses ballet, modern dance and it draws from other philosophies of movement that are outside the realm of classical dance technique. Ccontemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body, and is therefore safe and accessible for beginners. |
| Beginning-Intermediate Contemporary Ballet | Contemporary ballet is a form of dance ifluenced by both ballet and modern dance. It takes its technique from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement that may not adhere to the strict body lines set forth by schools of ballet technique. Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of modern dance including floorwork, balletic movements and and turn-in of the legs. |
| Intermediate Contemporary Ballet | The first 45 minutes of class will be fundamental ballet exercises (plie’, tendu, degage’, ronde jambe, frappe', fondu, developpe’, grand battement, stretch) on the barre. This emphasizes on proper placement and alignment of the body and helps develop strength and flexibility. The last 30 minutes of class will focus on contemporary with the focus of spatial awareness and weight shifting across the floor and a center combination. |
| Lyrical Jazz | Lyrical dance style has its primary basis in ballet, combining ballet with the freedom and airier aspects of jazz, contemporary and modern dance. Lyrical dance is expressive, simultaneously subtle and dynamic, focused on conveying musicality and emotion rough movement. It is a combination of intricate, highly technical, and pedestrian/naturalistic moves. It is commonly set to popular music with vocals as well as rich instrumental portions of a pop song. |

| Summer Bods for Dancers | Join Joe for a gratifying, intense workout, aimed at developing a strong, toned, enduring body, well conditioned for dancing, and great for showing off at the beach, (or wherever you choose). Joe will be bringing a fun variety of choreographed moves from a martial arts and dance background as warmup, then proceed into a bucket-filling sweaty weight training circuit. Circuit training is the highest calorie burning activity possible, and also sculpts lean strong muscles, perfect for dancers who are part athlete, part artist. All levels are welcome! |

Learn to dance like you see in the latest. music video clips.
Students will learn technique, style and choreographed routine geared
toward a dance concert. Selected dancers will be invited to perform
in the Ariel Dance Productions' annual concert. |
| Intermediate Hip Hop | A challenging Funk for your feet. The class covers street dance moves such as: hip hop, popping, locking, hitting, jamming to name a few. Don't be surprised if you find yourself being the center of attention the next time you are groovin' on the dance floor at your favorite club. |

| Beginning-Intermediate Jazz | This class is for students with some background in dance, although not necessarily experience in jazz. Students will continue to work on technique, balance, strength, coordination, jumps, turns, and short combinations. |
| Intermediate Jazz | This is a high-energy class that focuses on warm-up, across the floor work, multiple turns, and complex dance combinations: Afro Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Traditional styles. Students can expect fun, high energy music, experienced teacher and a great workout! |
| Lyrical Jazz | Lyrical dance style draws from ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern dance. This dance style dance is expressive, subtle, dynamic, and it focuses on conveying musicality and emotion through movement. If you have watched “Glee” and wanted to sing and dance in a show choir of your own, this is the class for you! The Show Choir class provides an outstanding opportunity for you to gain experience in this genre. You will develop greater musicianship, proper use of breath support, phrasing, interpretation, postures, stage presence, and other disciplines needed to put on a great show choir performance. |

Beginning Tap |
This beginning tap class teaches classic tap fundamentals and terminology, coordination and basic tap choreography with an emphasis on rhythm and the musical theater performing style. Using a combination of classic tap progressions, center work and repetition, students will build a strong tap foundation and develop showmanship abilities. |
Intermediate Tap |
Intermediate tap dance technique and choreography class will focus more on intricate footwork, help tap dancers develop speed, clarity, greater showmanship and beautiful sound quality. Designed to refine existing tap skills this class puts the fundamentals to work by learning new steps, rhythms, patterns, and combinations. Students will also enjoy learning choreography that blends a variety of tap styles such as Stomp, Showboat, Musical Theatre and Rhythmic. |
