Profile

Rachelle's love of dance started at the young age of 8 as a competitive cheerleader for Pop Warner. She since has trained in the disciplines of Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater at studio's all over the bay.

After graduating from the University of Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater with a Dance specialty, she went right to work teaching Hip Hop and drama classes at low income schools and community centers. More recently, she moved her love of teaching dance to the Harker Academy and has been there for almost 8 years teaching dance at first to grades k-8. She is now at the Harker High School and coaches their JV dance team.

When she isn’t teaching the next generation of dance addicts, she nurtures her love of performing in any way she can. In addition to dancing and choreographing for local dance companies, some of her most recent credits include Flightline Dance Team, Bombshell Dance Team, Provocateur Dance Company, Great America's Culture Pop Show, the San Jose Saberkittens and The Oakland Raiderettes.
